Operation Christmas Child 2023

by | Nov 20, 2023 | AHG, Trail Life

Troop 236 has participated in Operation Christmas Child since the troop’s inception in 2016. The troop was given leadership of OCC at Frazer in 2018, which includes obtaining, distributing, and collecting OCC boxes from Frazer and the public. The introduction of new “Go” boxes in 2018 saw a large increase in the number of boxes collected. The troop held its first large packing party in 2023 and packed 200 boxes! There were 733 boxes collected during National Collection Week, November 13 – 20, 2023, of which over 500 were from Frazer members. Make plans now for the next National Collection Week, November 18–25, 2024.

About Operation Christmas Child
The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations.
