Troop 236 hosted the annual River Region Rumble, a pine car and LEGO car race. This year included troops from Millbrook, Camden, and Montgomery. There were games in addition to the races, along with hamburgers and hotdogs for lunch.
A Pine Car Race is a fun event for families. Preparation for the race includes designing and building the race car. This allows parents and children to work together, making plans and decisions to achieve the desired outcome. The culmination is an exciting racing competition with trophies and awards that can include fastest car, best design, most original, judge and fan favorites, and more. Recent years have included LEGO cars built by younger ages.
